What do new kitchen fronts cost per square metre?
Depending on the material: melamine resin fronts from €112 per m², 3D foil fronts from €166 per m², Alvic Supermatt from €189 per m² and lacquered fronts from €341 per m² (incl. VAT). The exact price depends on colour, finish and dimensions.
How many fronts does an average kitchen have?
A small kitchen has around 8 fronts, a medium one around 14 and a large one 20 or more – doors, drawer fronts, flaps and panels added together. On average, one front measures about 0.4 m².
How accurate is the price calculator?
The price calculator shows a range of ±15 % based on the average front size. If you know the area of your fronts, you can enter it directly in m². You get the exact price in the door planner or with a free quote.
What is included in the price?
The fronts are made to measure, prices include VAT. Shipping, handles, hinge holes and custom work are added depending on your selection – the door planner shows every item separately.
Is it worth replacing only the fronts?
In most cases, yes: carcasses, worktop and appliances stay, only the visible surfaces are renewed. New fronts usually cost only a fraction of a new kitchen – according to AMK, the average kitchen price in specialist retail in 2025 was €12,177.
Can I also calculate fronts for an IKEA kitchen?

What does installation cost?
